Rosa Fragorapti

Rosa Fragorapti is a musician and musicologist (MA, University of Pavia) from Thessaloniki, Greece. Since 2007, she has been dedicated to the research and performance of the ancient Greek seven-string chelys lyre, developing a specialized technique for the instrument. In 2021, she was awarded the first worldwide diploma in ancient Greek lyre. Her practice is rooted in historically informed performance, bridging ancient musical traditions with contemporary expression, and she presents her work internationally in festivals, museums, archaeological sites and academic institutions.
